Word 2010 Forms

Objective

Learn to create forms in Word and understand the features and benefits in distributing and completing forms electronically.

Prerequisite Skills

Course Description

Do you have paper forms for things like order sheets, vacation requests, invoices, or evaluations? Do you want to learn to create these as Word templates so you can easily distribute and complete the form electronically?

Attend this course if you want to:

  • Understand what forms are and why to use them.

  • Plan a form.

  • Understand the different types of fields you can add to a form.

  • Open and complete an existing form.

  • Create and save a new form.

  • Display the Developer tab on the Word Ribbon.

  • Add content controls to a form.

  • Add legacy fields to a form.

  • Format content controls and legacy fields.

  • Protect a form.

  • Edit a form.

  • Calculate form fields automatically.

  • Repeat a form field result in another location.

  • Add help text to a form field.
